Update- Bought back my Nov Contracts at a loss. AMD went below 2.

AMD is trading at all time lows. I sold 2 puts one for .41 and another for .4 credit. I think that AMD is a good deal at this price. It is unlikely that the company will go to zero. It doesn't have credit risk like the financials. Selling puts is a good strategy if you don't mind owning the stock. It is an alternative way to buy stock at a cheaper price. AMD was trading around 3, so by selling the puts I'm essentially able to buy the stock at 2.6, which is a 13% (.4/3) discount to the trading price on Friday.

This is similar to a strategy I did on the IWM, where I sold the Nov 48 put for close to a 4.00 credit.
