2/12
Its about that time of the year in February when I attend the annual Trader Expo in NY. The event is free and I pick up some pieces of useful information each year. I learned the most the very first time I went, but the amount I learn starts to level off. It always seems to be very cold around the time of the trader expo.

I looked at the preliminary schedule and my initial thought was that this year's schedule isn't all that packed compared to previous years. I think it was to deal with the economy. When the economy is doing great, the markets are going up and people tend to make money. Most people who trade generally are buying and long. Most people don't know how to or want to take the risk associated with shorting stocks. Despite the less than jam packed schedule, I saw some good speakers and good talks that I would like to attend.
